What's in a pillow?

What kind of pillows do you use Smile
Sorry for the strange topic, but i'm very much interested...
It turns out there is almost nowhere to be found cept Amazon, a cotton pillow, like the one i've used all my life...
Sо i couldnt help but wonder, if cotton is so obsolete, what do other people use?

Just bought a new one this week. Ikea pillow with sort of stretch back-function. Because I was waking up with pain in the neck every morning. There's a sort of plastic-like substance inside.

I sleep on a pillow of this type: http://orthocanada.dev-linux.axialdev.net/pro/clinical-supplies/neck-pillows-cushions/nekdoctor-pillows.htm
Had to get used to it at first, but now it is the best Smile

wow buckwheat looks dangerous...

a bit like sandworm, eh?
Ruud, you have sandworms in your pillow Shocked

but i like hard pillows also - my cotton pillow isn't too soft but it can change shape a lot, and if you flip it its colder on the other side, so it's very nice. Most of the other pillows can make your head sweat.
I was thinking for something like the NekDoctor, if it's not too expensive, i could buy one Smile
But i usually like to snuggle my pillow, so i need a shapeshifting pillow Very Happy
And thanks for the responses, this turned out to be a fairly interesting topic Smile

For some reason, this is the most awesome thing I've seen on the internet for a while Laughing

I have a set of feather pillows from Ikea and my baby pillow which I carry with me and still sleep on, because I am mentally two years old. Shut up, I can if I want to Razz
