This weekend I bought The Extended versions (4 dvd per Box) of

Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Rings
Lord of the Rings - Two Towers
Lord of the Rings - Return of The King

It has been a while I bought a DVD,......hahahahaha, most of them are downloaded Twisted Evil

But that's legal in Holland Razz

Bought and downloaded a lot of war movies these past two weeks:

Der Untergang - Downfall - EXCELLENT movie about Hitler's last days. I daresay every self-respecting history student/enthusiast should watch it.

Talvisota - Winter War - another pretty impressive one, about the Soviet-Finnish war in 1939-1940. Very good, but contains probably the most horrible war scene I've seen.

Enemy at the Gate - older, but still good.

Valkyrie - quite a big disappointment.

What are you getting?

New acquisitions (last ones for this edition of the fair):

Bernard Cornwell - 'Stonehenge', 'Azincourt' and 'The Pale Horseman'
Philippa Gregory - 'The Other Queen'
Kevin J. Anderson & Brian Herbert - 'The Machine Crusade'

So much historical fiction to read until the end of the year Sheerleader Sheerleader

I think it will be fantasy stuff. There's two new Terry Brook books I don't have yet, and I also wanna have Jusitna Robson's Quantum Gravity Volume 2

Too much to mention after all this time.

But I have recently bought "The Black Swan" for Bianca, she has seen this 2 in the cinema, I have not seen it yet.

Has anyone seen this film?

It's amazing and severely underrated. Really one of the saddest and most beautiful flims I've seen in my life.

Hehe, true. I watched it with Andrei when he was visiting me in Helsinki and he said, 'it was so good I don't think I can stand to see it any time soon' Laughing
