Since sherocker is far away, I re-tag Laura to list 5 of her favorite movies Wink

HOOO BOY. Do I have to choose just five? OK, let's try, although this is more '5 of my favorite movies right now'. Sorry, they change all the time.

1. The Prince Who Contemplated His Soul (Really obscure, but I think everyone should watch this move. Lovely story Yes)
2. Red Baron (A lot of people would probably tell you it's crap. I loved it, historical inaccuracies and all)
3. Inception (I didn't want to see it at first, because I didn't like the hype around it. Fell right for it when I watched Embarassed Laughing)
4. Jadesoturi (Finnish/Chinese movie based on the Kalevala. Really strange, but well done and entertaining)
5. Stuart - A Life Backwards (I mentioned this one in the movies topic recently. Beautiful, funny and heartbreaking. Although the book is a lot better.)

I tag Sacha to introduce us to his three favorite poets Wink

Okay, this is gonna be difficult since must of my favorites are Dutch and/or not very commonly known colleagues or friends of mine. Well, let's see....

#1 is a Dutch female poet, Esther Jansma, she was my mentor and the one who tough me that there is nothing scary about climbing on a podium and read your pieces to an audience. Her work is so touching.

#2 the Romanians like Sorescu and Stanescu (and some others), I would have never known them if it hadn't been you Laura to tell me about them. Thanks for that, and thanks on behalf of my friends who now know them too.

#3 Dante Alighieri, big source of inspiration and author of the most epic piece of poetry in human history.

Now I tag mr. Dmitri to name his five favorite American actresses Twisted Evil

Why? From what i understood in school Divine Comedy (if you're talking about it) is mostly political and nothing much else, maybe a bit philosophical... But poetical...
Just trying to educate my ignorant self again, not to quarrel, i know he's huge, but i can't figure out why Smile

I don't, unfortunately. I got the feeling it was quite unique in that respect.

i haven't read much poetry, but a number of lyrics, which is esentially the same Smile
I mean to start reading more of them, i even dream of learning some urdu to read the original (urdu is very close to hindi, and i know a bit hindi, but still quite far fetched fantasy...)
