What book are you reading?

Do you guys like reading? I'm pretty addicted to books... I read a lot of different genres, but my favourite writers are John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Patrica Cornwell, Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson etc. So lots of thrillers :)

But also Helen Fielding (Bridget Jones' Diary and others), De Tweeling (Tessa de Loo), travel books,.... etc. etc. etc.

At the moment I am reading Crazy in Alabama. There's also a movie made of this book. I haven't seen the movie yet, but the book is very good. I doubt if the movie is on the same level, but I'm definitely going to watch it!

What are you reading?

Re: What book are you reading?

I'm not sure about Stephen King... I once read two of his books (The marathon and a book about a hostage in a class room, can't remember the title). The book about the hostage was OK, but I didn't like the marathon.

Last week I saw a very good movie: Dolores Clayborne, based on a Stephen King book.... and I really liked the story.

So I'm a bit confused about this writer.... maybe I should give it another try and start reading his books. Which one would you recommend?

My personal favorits are The Talisman and Black House (de Talisman en zwart huis) Written together with Peter Straub. Try those 2 Smile

Re: What book are you reading?

One of my favorite Stephen King novels is Bag of Bones.  Really, really good.  He has been a favorite author of mine for many years.  However, as with anything out there, there are some novels I don't care for...but BoB is really a good one.

There were lots of bargains on bol.com so I also ordered Leisure Suit Larry 7! Do you guys know Leisure Larry? He is sooo cool! I only know the very old DOS version. I'm really curious to the Windows version. Haven't played that game in 10 years or so!

Re: What book are you reading?

I don't like reading anymore. Used to like reading when I was a kid. But I received a box with schoolbooks, so I guess I'm gonna have to start reading those.  :Smile
