I, Kobold

Sorry bout the topic, it has to do with me playin Dungeons and Dragons Online Smile
The animal is an axolotl and it's my new pet. We think it's probably a female, but not sure yet because its still too young. As a resulte she still doesn't have a name, only different cute names Smile
Axolotls are larvaes of salamanders that undergo metamorphosis, so the adults remain aquatic and gilled. It's actually a different species - salamanders that refuse to grow up Smile

Cool, do you sometimes take her out of the water? Can she breathe outside or only in the water?
I remember I saw something very similar on TV, they showed these salamanders that live in dark caves or something, they look very similar but they don't have eyes, because they can't see anyway, so in the process of evolution they became eye-less creatures

Btw, I'm thinking of getting a lizard as a pet Very Happy

Um, no, she's a water only creature and is very fragile so i'm scared to touch her. But i've heard they can be easily hand fed and i'll try that some time. They do have lungs though, sometimes they like to take some air from the top of the water. The pink 'feathers' are actually part of her gills. And she had a bit of accident, she escaped from the aquarium and spend on the floor god knows how many hours, and she was ok, a bit frigthened, her tail a little bid bruised - cause they start drying and being with very soft skin, that's a problem. Smile
I wanted to have a lizzard when i was younger, there are some pretty amazing breads you can buy, so you should look into it. I for one didn't know this creature exist up until a month ago.

I also wanted a lizzard, however the day to day care is something I can handle but I wouldnot let anyone else do it during my holidays. I'd have a hard time thinking my mom could take good care of the creatures. So I ended up with one on my shoulder haha.
